  • November 25th, 2023

The Pokémon GO Community Day Schedule that will take place on September 2nd and November 25th will be Community Day Classics, while the rest will be regular Community Days.

What is a Community Day?

The Community Day is a small event that takes place once a month. In this event, there will be a special Pokémon that will have a higher appearance rate than the usual ones you can find there.

Usually, Pokémon GO gives a Community Day to a Pokémon whose shiny version is debuting in the game so people can find their shiny version for a little while.

Also, these Pokémon featured tend to be Rare or Uncommon, so it’s very important to catch them in case you want to compete with them.

The Community Days lasts from 2 PM to 5 PM, local time, so you have three hours to catch the special Pokémon.

These Pokémon also have a special feature; they’ll learn a special move you can’t find otherwise if they evolve during and up to five hours after the event ends. As you get the move, it’ll get added to your Elite TM.

Lastly, Pokémon GO also brings out a special bonus during the event. They can be increased Stardust Rewards, Increased Catch XP rewards, Increased Lure Module effectiveness time, or the eggs will take less time to hatch.

What is a Community Day Classic?

The Community Day Classics take place separately from the Community Days, and they feature Pokémon that were available during a previous Community Day, intending to let people who weren’t present during previous Community Days have a second chance to catch Rare or Uncommon Pokémon.

Other than that, the rules remain the same; you must also get the featured special move by evolving the Pokémon, and you have from 2 to 5 PM to catch it. There will be a special bonus during this time.

Pokémon GO’s Community Days are excellent ways to get rare Pokémon, so missing these events is always a bummer.
