It’s not news to any trainer that the Pokemon World is home to a colossal spectrum of Pocket Monster varieties. All shapes and sizes are welcome and willing to join adventures, which means you can find something you like and create an unbeatable team around it.

The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have always been good at catering to Poke-fans, from the early days of Pokémon Red, Pokemon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow, right through to the modern video games on Nintendo Switch. But, of course, when riding into battle, the last thing you expect to face off with is a horde of fluffy, adorable cotton-candy clouds!

As of generation eight, there are fifty-five predominantly pink Pokemon. There has been a massive variety of pink Pokemon in every generation, most of which have ended up on my team at one point. I just can’t help myself if it’s pink – it’s usually either tiny or adorable!

But pink Pokemon are more than meets the eye. Pink in early games usually means the Pokemon is normal, but Gen Six introduced Fairy type Pokémon and changed history as we know it.

Plus, some monsters may take you by surprise. Be it with their evolution chains or their type differences. So if you’re keen to see who’s pretty in pink to add to your team, then it’s time to do our research!

Here are all fifty-five predominantly pink Pokemon characters and a little bit about them:

FAQs

Question: How many pink Pokemon are there?

Answer: Although the Pokedez registers fifty-seven pink Pokemon, this list includes Pokemon like Milotic and Vivillion, both of which do not have predominantly pink coloring. As of generation eight, there are fifty-five, mostly pink-colored Pokemon.

Question: Are all pink Pokemon fairy types?

Answer: No! Not all pink-colored Pokemon are fairy types. For example, Corsola is a pink Pokemon, but its type is water/rock. Another example would be the Hattena evolution chain, which is all pastel-themed but is psychic type.

Answer: I’d say that Jigglypuff is the most popular pink Pokemon. It has been around since the first generation and used across many games, and involved in many anime episodes. As a result, it is one of the most recognizable Pokemon alongside Pikachu and Eevee.
