What Is Charizard?
Charizard is a dual-fire and flying type Pokemon that evolves from Charmeleon. It was introduced in Generation I. Charizard is a bipedal dragon, characterized by its orange skin, blue wings, and fiery tail.
As you continue fighting with Charizard, it only becomes stronger and learns more moves. However, its weaknesses are water, electric, and rock types. But Charizard is a unique Pokemon because it can swim underwater — the firing tip on its tail will also continue burning!
Trainers can get a Charizard by first catching a Charmander or Charmeleon and evolving it. You can also find Charizard living in valleys and mountains.
Charizard also has three additional forms: Mega Charizard X, Mega Charizard Y, and Gigantamax. To evolve Charizard, you’ll need the Charizardite (X and Y for their respective evolutions). There are a couple of ways to get a Gigantamax Charizard on Sword and Shield.
